To whom it may concern,
Countless of times I’ve said it’s okay to myself. It will be alright, though I don’t know who I am fighting against and who is by my side. Am I all alone fighting this unnamed monster? Is there an end of my journey, journey to become a better man? Perhaps everything was built on false hope I gaslighted myself. It’s okay, I do me, and this is supposed to be the thing I do the best. If false hope is what motivates me every morning to be better, then the hope isn’t false in any aspect.
It still hurts, but it’s okay. The deeper you love, the more hurts you will get. Especially when doing something you didn’t mean to, making mistakes. The regression is going to cut deep and hurt bad. It’s okay. Regret, remorse, and if you get a second chance to prove yourself, good; if not, give the most sincere apologies and wishes, then try to move on. Try to, not compulsory. Again, you do you. Having feelings for someone single endedly isn’t a crime. As long as you leave her the peace she deserves.
When we love, we give all in. And it’s okay, loving is never a curse, it’s a gift. A gift for the one who secretly claimed your heart, a gift for yourself to learn. Learn to be a better person. That’s the meaning of life, always improving. No one is perfect, you can feel lonely, stressful, frustrated, but never lose hope. Do whatever you can, fight, struggle. “If you don’t fight for your love, what kind of love do you have?”
To whomever is reading this. You might be my important one, my family, my friend, my future self, or even my kids from the future. I just lost who I believe to be the love of my life. Everything about her is perfect, and I cherish her deeply. The thing I did wrong was failing her, and that’s the lesson. Communication is key; most importantly, to listen. If only you could calm down and put yourself into their shoes, it wouldn’t be difficult for you to understand their demands. And it wouldn’t be hurtful for them to learn yours. I got it wrong, and it is killing me. On one hand, I want to give her the peace she deserves; on the other hand, it hurts so much for me to smile and give my blessings. Watching her leave killed a part of me. I am at my all-time lowest, and I started to go to therapy. Let’s see how it goes.
